It’s an event the community has looked forward to for nearly 30 years, place for family and friends to make memories. But it is so mucn more than a pumpkin patch. It’s another way we love and serve. Proceeds benefit various nonprofit organizations in the community. Love and serve, that’s what we do.

Even in a prosperous area like Brazosport needs in the community are real. If you’ve never had to chose between paying rent, keeping the lights on or feeding your family, count yourself very blessed. We partner with two other area churches to take calls from people in need of rent and utility assistance. Love and Serve.

In 2001 first Camp Hope was offered for Christ Lutheran youth and area children, Church teens were employed as camp counselors. Adults volunteered to train and supervise. Twenty-two years later Camp Hope continues to offer 2 weeks of summer experiences spreading the story of Jesus to area youngsters.

Every August Christ Lutheran Church raises funds for global missions through a community-wide Rummage Sale. This event not only raises money for our missionaries like Lancelot Themba and Kewena Rebecca in Madagascar, it also provides our entire community the opportunity to contribute through their purchases.

We invite you to join us in the fight against hunger. Together we can ensure no one faces the day hungry in Brazoria County by creating access to affordable and nutritious foods. We keep a grocery cart in the gathering area of the church. When it is full, volunteers deliver the food to the food pantry. Some of us volunteer there too.

Brazoria County SPCA, Pregnancy Help Center and Brazosport schools are among the many additional community needs to which we contribute our time, talents, and financial support. Rarely a week goes by that we do not find an opportunity to support our friends and neighbors.
